Why do Company business owners hire Virtual Assistants?

There are many tasks to do that companies have no time and energy to finish and maintain their businesses. Like any other companies, let’s say you are running a School as your business. As far as I know, there are certain levels of positions that are responsible on specific tasks like the Principal, the teachers, the school cleaners, accountant. the list of workers can go on. The school needs to hire people so they can be able to run the business smoothly.

Nowadays, small online businesses are increasing, and they need a Virtual Assistant’s help to grow it, run it while enjoying more time for themselves.

So Why Choose Virtual Assistant?

It’s a great option and its the easiest to do, relatively almost every business needs one.

Higher income that you can do anytime anywhere.

So how much does a Virtual assistant usually earn per month?

The rate varies depending on the country and freelance work. We’ll focus on the Philippines because most of us here are Filipinos. Depending on the task, your salary as a Virtual Assistant should be a minimum of $3 or about 150 pesos per hour. Just by working 2-3 hours a day you can earn more than the minimum wage in the Philippines. If you work 20 hours a week, doing it part-time, you can get additional 12,000 pesos a month.

Now if you do it full time for 40 hours a week, you may get around 24,000 pesos per month. Now if you have anything in mind wherein a company can provide that minimum salary within those hours in the Philippines,  you can comment on the space below.

Once you become more valuable to the online marketplace, it means, when your skills became more in demand due to your experience and you gain more trust from many clients then you may earn $5-40 per hour rate. It can be 2x or 5x  the minimum salary you get per month.

So Why Choose Freelancing?

1. No Transportation hassle

You’re at home, so you don’t need to beat the traffic rush or spend money for gas, jeepneys, taxis or trains.

2. No pressure for fashion

Say goodbye to the matching clothes, buying office fashion accessories, and getting on a rush to do the make up because you don’t have to dress up to work everyday. You can sip your tea in pajamas while at work, or work in a hammock while watching your kids play.

3. Big earnings

You are earning dollars right at the comfort of your home and it’s much higher compared to the minimum salary in the Philippines. As you grow in freelancing and the demand of your service gets higher, you will receive big time!

4. Work anywhere and anytime you want

The picture on the right is one of the FVA students. She had got the chance to work even on a vacation. You can actually bring your work with you as long as there is an internet connection in the area.

5. It brings families closer together

There is no need to go abroad to provide your family a living. You don’t need to spend your time away from your family because working at home provides financial freedom. You can also have focused parenting wherein you can see your kids in all their milestones as they grow and treasure every moment. You can raise them up close to you and be able to be there for them especially during the times that they needed you the most.

6.   You’re free from the most common OFW problems

I am an OFW myself,  and in China alone we can’t find job security. Especially because of the yearly changes and restrictions they imposed in their law. (I can discuss another topic about this and you are always welcome to share your idea.)

7. More travel time for you and your family

Because you get time and financial freedom, you will be able to go to places that you have been wanting to visit.

8. Being able to afford your parent’s travel abroad

Letting them experience what is it like to experience the culture and the place outside the Philippines. I remember the happiness I’ve seen in my parents faces when I brought them to China and visit many beautiful places here. I couldn’t have afforded that without freelancing.

9. Healthy Living

Since you own your time, you can prepare healthy food and exercise at home.

10. Pursuing Passion

You have time to do the things you love. Be it in a church ministry, writing a book,  do photography class or take a baking lesson. This is because you are not drained with the usual- 10-hour work and break period each day. You can plan your time to work, and you still have the time to do the things you are passionate about.
