What is a Virtual Assistant?

A virtual assistant is a person who provides various services to entrepreneurs or businesses from a remote location. There are a host of things that virtual assistants can do, including Social media management, managing calendars, appointments and emails, preparing reports, personal tasks like booking hotels and restaurants, simple digital marketing tasks, and more. In short, you’re like a personal secretary working for a client from overseas.

How do the courses work?

The lessons are all in one site and can be accessed any time of the day. We recognized that each student in a class has different times when they are free so we created the lessons so anyone can just study at their own pace and time when they are free.

But we meet as a group online weekly for Freelancing Course and 2 times for the other courses (orientation and evaluation), Philippine Time. This live group coaching is the time for evaluation, discussions, Q&A, etc. This is also recorded to those who can’t join can still be updated.

I'm a newbie. I'm not a techie. What course should I take?

I recommend taking the Freelancing Course. This course is specially designed for newbies. You will be coached how to set up your Freelancing profiles and accounts and will learn the basic skills needed to start working online 🙂

Will you refer me to clients after I finish the course?

Part of your assignments is to submit proposals through freelancing platforms with my guidance. My commitment is that I will not leave you until you have your first client. We also have a training-to-hiring program for all of our graduates.

How long will it take to get a client?

It varies. This will be the most realistic answer you can get. A lot of my students get hired before we even finish the course. But this doesn’t happen to everyone. Becoming a freelancer doesn’t happen overnight, so you would need to show constant determination in order for you to get a client. Others get hired after the course, others take months. But as long as you show your determination, you will get your client. And I will be here to help you achieve that, even after you finish your course. Again, my ultimate goal is for you to get a client.

Is there a certificate after the course?

Yes, absolutely. And you can use the certificate as your portfolio anywhere since we are DTI and BIR registered.

I have full-time work/class

No worries. Our lessons are all pre-recorded and you can do them at your own pace, anytime and anywhere you are available 🙂

I don’t have any knowledge or background about online jobs or freelancing

That’s okay. Our course is specially designed for newbies and this will help you develop skills to work online!

I didn't go to college. Will I still be qualified?

Definitely! Freelancing doesn’t discriminate against non-college goers. It’s open to everyone as long as you have the determination!

Do I need to be fluent in English?

No you don’t. You only need basic English communication skills to be a freelancer 🙂

Do I need a laptop? I don't have one.

Using a computer is recommended because you will have application assignments all throughout the course. I have students who work on their lessons and assignments in internet cafes and computer shops, until they get clients. By then, they will have the money to get their own laptop.
